WE BELIEVE IN CHANGE
TSP Community Facilitators and TSP CanSupport Counselors on the Home Care Teams first learn the sets of movement practices. Zuleikha works with all the groups in on-site visits. As the trainees learn how the system works, they first practice these leadership skills in the company of Zuleikha and other trained leaders. After the first year of practice, the trainees work in partners, and the consultant of the program oversees the practice. The whole process takes about two years before they are ready to conduct sessions as a part of the partnerships and inside of their communities.
Check-in and further sessions are conducted on Zoom when Zuleikha is not on-site. Currently there are 14 TSP-trained Community Facilitators using TAKE A MINUTE® for Transformative Self-Care, and serving thousands of women, girls, and families in India.
Navajo Nation has one TSP Facilitator and an assistant working with hundreds of students.
Over the years, inside of the partnership with CanSupport, India’s largest free home-care-team-based organization, more than 40 Counselors on the Home Care Teams have been trained, with one Program Consultant who oversees the current trainings. At this juncture, Zuleikha has been asked to train four core future trainers in the TAKE A MINUTE® for Integrative Palliative Care for the future in this organization which sees thousands of cancer and palliative patients and their families. These four future trainers will be responsible in the future for training all new counselors joining home care teams in TAKE A MINUTE® Integrative Palliative Care.

EVERY MOMENT COUNTS
TAKE A MINUTE® for Integrative Palliative Care has a unique and definite role to play in an adaptive approach in improving the both physical and emotional aspects of quality of life for cancer patients and their families. “This program, by its very nature, not only offers constructs that promote holistic approaches to their care but also provides a therapeutic form for their healing and discovering their ‘new normal.’”—Dr. Ambika Rajvanshi, CEO, CanSupport, India
