New Mexico Navajo Nation and Zuni Pueblo to help meet the
needs of children, women, families and community leaders.

What’s in a Story
School Program
“Wisdom stories, transformative self-care exercises, sign language and Diné-Bizaad (Navajo) vocabulary, Fun ways for elementary school students to participate and interact.
Our partners include: San Juan County and McKinley County School Districts Elementary Schools, Early Childhood Centers, Gallup Children’s Museum, and Farmington Library.
TSP What’s in a Story has been in partnership with New Mexico Navajo Nation for over 10 years, serving over 600 per year. LEARN MORE

Strengthening
Hearts & Minds
A bilingual (English/Diné-Bizaad) program offering holistic self-care for Navajo mothers facing depression and trauma, facilitated by 3
unique women specialists in the fields of education, healing and self-care. Program includes traditional women’s practices, healing and indigenous foods, rejuvenating exercises for chronic stress, leadership and family communication.
TSP Strengthening Hearts and Minds has been in partnership with New Mexico Navajo Nation for over 5 years, serving over 45 women per year. LEARN MORE

Self-CARE FOR
COMMUNITY LEADERS
Self-Care for Community Leaders: TAKE A MINUTE™ Care for the Caregivers and Educators in NM Navajo Nation clinics and schools. Simple exercises that refresh, reset and relieve, rejuvenating the human spirit—for health professionals at Gallup Indian Medical Center, Indian Health Services, and educators at Central Consolidated School District, and UNM Gallup.
TSP’s Take a Minute™ Care for the Caregivers and Educators in collaboration for over 5 years and reaching approximately 30-50 persons per year. LEARN MORE

OTHER NM COMMUNITIES
Zuni Pueblo
Self-Care for Community Leaders: TAKE A MINUTE™ Restorative Movement Practice offer simple exercises for community leaders that refresh, reset and relieve rejuvenating the human spirit. Program reaches Zuni Pueblo Recovery Center, educators, human service and health care professionals, domestic violence advocates, counselors and youth leaders.
