An End-of-Life Journey Video
The Stream is a transformation story of end-of-life journey, created by Zuleikha, international Storydancer, educator and founder/director of The Storydancer Project, a humanitarian non-profit organization headquartered in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The film performance was created in partnership with CanSupport-Delhi, India’s largest free home-based palliative care program.
Inspired by an ancient transformational story, The Stream is a film creation by Zuleikha with storydance, spoken word, and original music—a journey that moves within a visual landscape.

International performer, wellness educator and award-winning pioneer, Zuleikha is renowned for her Storydancer performances, Rumi Concert collaborations, and innovative teaching. She shares the gift of movement medicine—simplicity of movement, enlivenment of expression and feeling—to engage hearts and open doors to a life of well being.

As founder and director of The Storydancer Project and creator of the innovative TAKE A MINUTE® Self-Care Exercise program and TAKE A MINUTE® for Palliative Care, Zuleikha offers live and virtual sessions to doctors, nurses, palliative care workers, nurses working in hospitals on the front line, business people, teachers, remote workers, and children.

Inspired by the work of The Storydancer Project at CanSupport/India, CEO, Dr. Ambika Rajvanshi asked Zuleikha to create a transformative story of death and dying through film, music and spoken work. In 2022, The Stream film story was live-streamed to thousands in Delhi, and is now used by CanSupport for palliative care patients and families.
